Here’s an interesting look at what kind of an effort it takes to shoot the London Olympics. The sheer amount of preparation is mind numbing. Planning shots 3 years in advance, the photographers of Sports Illustrated set out to take that one photo no one else got.

While more a video about photography, it does however give an insight into the massive scope of equipment they have to bring to such an event.
